Social Media Manager
Mission: Own and scale Six Stories’ social presence across every social platform. Growing our audience, inspiring joy, and converting followers into fans through consistently standout, on-brand content.
THE ROLE
The Social Media Manager is responsible for translating the Six Stories brand into high-performing, platform-native social storytelling. You will grow our social channels, expand our presence, and turn social attention into brand loyalty and demand.
You sit within the Brand Engine, working closely with Content, Paid, Campaigns, Partnerships and the Head of Brand with a dotted line into Marketing Ops for coordinated delivery.
You understand both creative nuance and commercial impact, balancing storytelling with performance indicators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Social Strategy & Growth
Build and execute the social strategy across TikTok, IG, YouTube and all other socials.
Grow followers, engagement, community and share of voice across markets.
Lead platform-specific optimisation: hooks, formats, pacing, posting cadence.
Future-proof our presence by staying ahead of algorithms, features, cultural shifts.
2. Performance & Analytics
Analyse daily/weekly performance data to inform content direction.
Identify what’s working, what’s not, and adapt with pace.
Build reporting dashboards for Brand + Trade to inform decisions.
Understand how social impacts sessions, revenue, email sign-ups, ROAS and long-term customer value.
3. Content Collaboration
Work closely with Content Manager to brief content themes, storytelling arcs and creative needs.
Feed insight back into creative direction (what the audience is responding to).
Ensure every asset reaches social-ready quality.
4. Community & Culture
Lead community management, tone, interaction and relationship-building.
Build positive, emotional, culturally-relevant community conversations.
Translate real-life brand moments (events, PR, partnerships) into social heat.
5. Cross-Functional Partnership
Work with Marketing Ops on planning + execution.
Work with Performance teams to align funnel messaging.
Work with Partnerships on UGC, influencers and gifting.
6. Paid Funnel System
Build performance system which flows content into paid strategy, fuelling retargeting and growth for paid strategies.
